Padre Pio TV is a television network that enjoys national and international reach. It was established by the Capuchin Friars Minor with the purpose of disseminating the Gospel by showcasing the teachings and exemplary life of one of the most globally renowned Saints.
On a daily basis, Padre Pio TV presents live broadcasts from the Shrine of San Giovanni Rotondo. The channel features three Mass Celebrations and two rosaries, along with scheduled programs of lauds, vespers, and complines. Additionally, viewers can witness the Angelus, Papal Audiences, and various significant pastoral events presided over by Pope Francis. Furthermore, the channel meticulously covers various social issues, current events, and provides in-depth analysis.
Padre Pio TV stands out for enabling its audience to live stream major events associated with the namesake Saint. The channel commenced airing nationwide in Italy on LCN 145 starting from September 22, 2011. Its inception stemmed from the legacy of the local TV channel Tele Radio Padre Pio, which was established in 2001 and continues to operate within the Puglia Area.
Currently, Padre Pio TV extends its programming to a wider audience by broadcasting through Eutelsat across Europe and the Mediterranean. Viewers can tune in via Tivùsat (channel 445) and Sky (channel 852). Furthermore, the channel has a global presence through video streaming on its website www.teleradiopadrepio.it.
